Built my first PC at 15, and made a career out of AV with heavy usage of audiovisual software like the Adobe suite ever since and used to do a lot of consulting and occasionally custom computer builds for others. My parents bought a computer when I was a youngster and I learned to do some very basic coding in BASIC just for fun when I was about 12. I’m not a “computer guy” so I feel like I’m being tricked. I took college course on video editing on Mac, the Sony Vaio matching tower blew them away. Worked fine, had a swivel camera front and back, firewire so my Sony Video camera could be edited. It had features way ahead of anything else. My first fun computer was 1999 Sony Vaio C1 series () just locked up, I still have it, worthless now I had all PC, one 2010 Mac Air 11" laptop, it failed during an update. I spent plenty on them, they all break or go obsolete I went through a long learning curve starting 1996 The question is, have you used a computer often? Lots and lots to learn and practice but it’s exciting. Earlier this year I started down the Photoshop path. At the same time, I decided in mid-2020-pandemic that I wanted to begin the journey into “hybrid” photographic processes (finally) as an addition to darkroom. I have used the iPad a lot recently teaching myself some cad/design software but I would prefer to do that on a Mac. Main Features: But just think of a situation when you have to borrow an original and rare disk to someone. Some may think that collectors are not interested in creating replicas.
